Privacy notice

1. Controller

Fusion-Media (Einzelunternehmen), Schwerzistrasse 7, 8606 Nänikon, Switzerland, represented by Michael Truffer, is the controller for personal data processed on the public website dealerhub.ch and in the interactive demo offered there.

There is no duty to appoint a data protection officer. Please send privacy requests to the controller above.

2. Two separate systems – this matters

DealerHub consists of two technically separate environments. This notice explains which data arises where.

Public website and demo (dealerhub.ch): marketing pages, forms, language choice and the interactive demo under /app. This environment runs on Vercel and does not hold live tenant data.

Production platform (app.dealerhub.ch): the multi-tenant SaaS for customer businesses. Each business manages its own company space (vehicles, customers, contracts, workshop, staff, documents). For that data the customer business is the controller. Fusion-Media acts as processor on the customer’s instructions.

The live demo at dealerhub.ch/app does not replace production. Do not enter live personal data there.

3. Applicable law

The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) as in force since 1 September 2023 and the related ordinance (DPO) apply.

If we also address people in the EU or EEA, we additionally observe the GDPR where it applies. Legal bases are then in particular contract, pre-contractual steps, legitimate interest and – where required – consent.

DealerHub is aimed at business customers (B2B), in particular car dealers, garages and dealership teams in Switzerland.

4. Personal data we process

Contact and demo requests: name, company, email, phone and message if you provide them.

Demo access and trial: your email (for the trial also company and owner details). With your consent we store that address on the production platform to inform you about DealerHub.

Technical logs: IP address, time, URL, referrer, browser and device data, to the extent needed to run the site and protect it against abuse.

Demo session: the fact that you started the demo (cookie dh_session). Vehicles, customer records and similar entries you create in the demo stay in your browser (localStorage) and are not kept as a customer database on our servers.

Language: the language you chose or that your browser suggested (cookie NEXT_LOCALE).

Production system: only if you are a customer using app.dealerhub.ch. Data your business records there is processed as needed for operations, support or legal duties.

5. Purposes

Operating, displaying and securing the website and demo.

Answering demo, support and contact requests and pre-contract communication.

With consent: sending information about DealerHub (product, trial, offers) by email. You may withdraw consent at any time, for example at info@dealerhub.ch.

Performing contracts with customer businesses, invoicing and supporting the production platform.

Meeting legal duties (in particular accounting and retention).

Legitimate interests: abuse prevention, proof of communication, product improvement from anonymised or aggregated insight – without advertising tracking on this website.

6. Cookies and local storage

We only use technically necessary means. No analytics, advertising or social-media scripts are loaded. There is no marketing-cookie banner because such cookies are not used.

dh_session: httpOnly cookie for demo sign-in, duration session or until sign-out. The protected demo does not work without it.

NEXT_LOCALE: stores the language (German, English, French, Italian) so the site does not re-guess from the browser on every visit. Duration one year. The first language may be taken from the browser Accept-Language header; you can change it at any time.

localStorage in the demo: master data you enter in the demo stays on your device. You can delete it in the browser.

On app.dealerhub.ch the production platform sets its own session cookies needed to run the service.

7. Recipients and processors

Vercel Inc., USA, hosts the public website and demo (dealerhub.ch), including delivery, TLS and server logs. Processing may occur in the United States or other Vercel regions.

ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Germany, hosts the production platform app.dealerhub.ch and related account email.

Email and phone providers as needed to answer your request.

Authorities, courts or counsel if we are legally obliged or must protect our rights.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for third-party advertising.

8. Disclosure abroad

Hosting on Vercel may transfer personal data (especially technical logs and demo-site content) to states without equivalent Swiss protection, in particular the United States.

Where required we rely on recognised safeguards: standard contractual clauses, the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable, and contractual instructions to the processor. ALL-INKL processes in Germany (adequate level of protection).

Fully Swiss hosting of the marketing site is not possible with the chosen host. Tenant production data is hosted in Germany.

9. Retention

Contact and demo requests: usually until correspondence is closed, at most 24 months, unless a longer legal retention applies.

Marketing addresses from demo and trial (with consent): until withdrawal, at most 24 months without further contact, unless a longer legal retention applies.

Server logs: typically days to weeks, as retained by the host for operations and security.

Demo cookie: until the session ends or you sign out.

Language cookie: up to one year or until you delete it.

Contract, accounting and tenant data in production: according to the contract and statutory retention (in Switzerland often 10 years for business records).

10. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures: TLS, separated tenant spaces in production, limited access, secure session cookies for the demo and no unnecessary third-party scripts on the website.

No system is perfectly secure. Please do not send particularly sensitive personal data unencrypted by email if it can be avoided.

11. No automated individual decisions, no advertising profiling

dealerhub.ch does not take automated individual decisions with legal effect. There is no advertising profiling and no remarketing.

12. Your rights

Under the FADP you may request information, correction of inaccurate data, handover or transfer of your data in a common electronic format where the legal conditions are met, and deletion or restriction unless a retention duty applies. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Please send requests in writing or by email to info@fusion-media.ch. We may ask for proof of identity.

You may lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC): www.edoeb.admin.ch.

Data subjects in the EU/EEA may also contact their supervisory authority where the GDPR applies.

13. Minors

The offer is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

14. Changes

This notice may change if the offer, technology or law changes. The version published on dealerhub.ch applies. Updated: 30.08.2026.
