How to add a vehicle

Register a vehicle with the Swiss chassis number

Three steps from the registration document to a complete vehicle record: enter the chassis number, load SwissCarInfo, then fill in what is missing.

In DealerHub every new vehicle starts with the Swiss chassis number (Stammnummer). Make, model, VIN and more are prefilled from SwissCarInfo – less typing, fewer duplicates.

  1. 1

    Enter the chassis number

Under Vehicles → Add vehicle you enter the 9-digit chassis number first. Scanners and Enter work – ideal at vehicle intake.

  2. 2

    Load SwissCarInfo

DealerHub fetches official vehicle data and opens the form prefilled. Existing chassis numbers in stock are detected early so duplicates are avoided.

  3. 3

    Complete and save

Add mileage, prices, MFK, reservation and notes. Saving assigns the immutable stock number and creates the digital vehicle file.

Tip: The chassis number is on the Swiss registration document. Dots are optional; DealerHub expects exactly 9 digits. Without a Swiss document you can still enter the vehicle manually.
